Bihar recorded a voter turnout of 42.31% till 1 pm in the first phase of the Assembly elections, according to Election Commission data. Among the 18 districts, Gopalganj saw the highest turnout at 46.73%, followed by Lakhisarai at 46.37% and Begusarai at 46.02%. Raghopur recorded a voter turnout of 43.3%, while Patna, the state capital, registered a turnout of 37.72%.
