Ajmer's famous Hotel Khadim has been renamed as 'Ajaymeru' by the Rajasthan government, an official said. "Ajmer was historically known as 'Ajaymeru', therefore, the decision was taken," a senior official said. According to the state's tourism site, Hotel Khadim was named after well-known Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, who is enshired at the city's most famous landmark Ajmer Sharif Dargah.
