Shiv Sena leader Uday Samant confirmed on Thursday that Maharashtra caretaker CM Eknath Shinde will take oath as the Deputy CM today. BJP's Devendra Fadnavis is set to take oath as Chief Minister at Mumbai's Azad Maidan around 5.30 pm today. As per reports, Home Minister Amit Shah will meet Shinde ahead of the ceremony to discuss portfolios.
