After India suffered a home Test series whitewash against South Africa, head coach Gautam Gambhir said, "Four or five batters in India's top eight have literally played less than 15 Tests...each, and they will grow. They're learning on the job." He added, "This is exactly what transition is...They need time to keep getting better against quality attacks and quality sites."
