Reacting to his Khel Ratna snub, Paris Paralympics gold medalist archer Harvinder Singh said athletes who won gold medals in Tokyo Paralympics in 2021 got Khel Ratna. "What about Paris 2024 Paralympics gold medalists? Same competition, same gold, same pride, why not same award?" he stated. Harvinder had won a bronze medal at the Tokyo Paralympic Games three years back.
