A video has surfaced online showing a massive shelf cloud rolling through the city of Bowie in US' Maryland. Shelf clouds, which often appear along leading edge of thunderstorms, form when cool air rushes out from a storm and forces the warm, moist air ahead of it to rise. "I’ve never seen such a cloud. Crazy!" an X user commented.
