A five-year-old boy, Suhas Gowad, died after falling into a water-filled pit at an under-construction building in Bengaluru's Kadugodi on Thursday. The pit, intended for a lift shaft, was left uncovered. Police have registered an FIR against the building's owner, Sunil, following a complaint by the boy's mother, who accused him of negligence in ensuring safety measures.
