A police constable in Pune was suspended for allegedly extorting ₹28,000 from a 19-year-old boy by threatening to frame him in a drug case. The constable reportedly confiscated a hookah pot and demanded money from the boy, who was visiting Bopdev Ghat. After the boy filed a complaint, the money was returned, and the constable was suspended from duty.
