Banks are expected to reduce fixed deposit interest rates after RBI slashed repo rate by 25 bps for the second consecutive time, as per experts. "Some banks have already started cutting interest rates on FDs," a banker told News18. "Depositors having investible surpluses can consider booking FDs offering higher yields, especially those with longer tenures," Paisabazaar CEO Santosh Agarwal said.
