Both venom and poison are lethal but differ in terms of how they enter the body. While venom is injected into one's body when animals like snakes and scorpions bite or sting, poison can enter the body through eating, drinking, or breathing any toxic substances. Poison can enter the body on eating pufferfish, poison dart frogs or some poisonous plants.
