The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is promoting eco-friendly Ganesh idol immersions for the Ganesh festival 2025. As part of this initiative, they have established 288 artificial ponds throughout Mumbai. The 10-day Ganesh festival sees people welcoming the God into their homes and public pandals.
