The BMC restarted dialysis services at Urban Health Centre in Dharavi under Public-Private Partnership model. Dialysis is free for patients covered under Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Jan Arogya Yojana, as well as for holders of yellow and orange ration cards, while others pay ₹1,000 per session. An official said that BMC plans to open dialysis centres in five more municipal hospitals.
