India's average temperature rose by nearly 0.9 degrees in last 10 years (2015-2024) compared to the early 20th century (1901-1930), a new study says. The number of warm days also increased across most parts of the country. The hottest day of the year also saw temperature rise of 1.5-2° Celsius in western and northeast India since 1950s, the study added.
