Former Congress MP Mani Shankar Aiyar said that he and Congress leader P Chidambaram can never win elections without the support of Dravidian forces, as Tamil Nadu is a completely different state. He stated that these Dravidian forces demanded before the partition that India should be divided into Hindustan, Pakistan and Dravidistan. DMK was once a separatist party, he added.
