Congress leader Digvijaya Singh on Saturday claimed that the BJP received electoral bonds worth ₹945 crore from pharmaceutical companies. His remarks come amid the investigation into the deaths of 26 children in Madhya Pradesh linked to the contaminated 'Coldrif' cough syrup. He added, "Companies that sell toxic drugs are receiving protection because they have provided election funds to BJP."
