The Muslim community voluntarily demolished a 168-year-old mosque in Meerut to make way for Delhi-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) corridor. "We removed...mosque on our own, but we possess documents from 1857 that prove [its] historicity," a mosque representative said.
