Turkey's uncrewed fighter jet Bayraktar Kizilelma successfully shot down a jet-powered target aircraft with a beyond-visual-range (BVR) air-to-air missile, marking the first time any unmanned platform has shown this capability. Kizilelma destroyed an aerial target identified by a radar in the test conducted off the coast of Sinop firing range. A video of the test has also been released.
