Eight items, including diadems, necklaces, earrings, and brooches, were stolen from France's Louvre Museum, authorities said. They included a tiara and brooch of Empress Eugénie, wife of Napoleon III, an emerald necklace and earrings of Empress Marie Louise, and a tiara, necklace, and single earring from Queen Marie-Amelie and Queen Hortense's sapphire set. The "reliquary brooch" was also taken.
