Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Saturday said that recent GST reforms will strengthen India's economy. He explained, "After the GST relief, even if consumption increases by just 10%, it will add around ₹20 lakh crore to the nation's GDP." "Our country’s GDP is around ₹330 lakh crore, out of which nearly ₹202 lakh crore comes from consumption," he added.
