Punjab on Monday reported 1,251 farm fire cases, which is single-day highest this season, taking state's total count of such cases to 9,655, according to Punjab Remote Sensing Centre's data. The second-highest was farm fire cases of the season at 730 were reported on November 8. This comes as pollution level in Delhi and nearby states turned severe.
