The Tamizhaga Vazhvurimai Katchi (TVK) party, the ally of the ruling DMK, demanded a ban on Bigg Boss Tamil. Party MLA T Velmurugan claimed that the show is denigrating Tamil culture. "Disgusting body movements, kissing scenes, and bedroom scenes, which can't be viewed along with a mature girl or children, are being shown," he said, warning of a major protest.
