The 758-metre Hongqi bridge in China's Sichuan collapsed partially on Tuesday after cracks appeared on nearby slopes and roads and shifts were seen in the mountain's terrain. The recently opened bridge was completed earlier this year and connects China with Tibet. The bridge collapse, which didn't result in casualties, started after conditions on the mountainside worsened, triggering landslides.
