Former investigating officer Ramesh Mahale recalled how police intercepted terrorist Ajmal Kasab near Girgaum Chowpatty after a chase during 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks in 2008. ASI Tukaram Omble's brave sacrifice helped capture Kasab alive. Kasab later admitted attack was plotted in Pakistan. Mahale led investigation, filing 12 FIRs and probing Kasab for 81 days, securing his death sentence.
