Maharashtra's excise department has cancelled the liquor permit for the singer Diljit Dosanjh's concert in Pune's Kothrud, which is scheduled to take place today evening. This comes amid protests by several organisations against the same, with some protesters also raising concerns about sound pollution. Kothrud's newly elected BJP MLA Chandrakant Patil had also objected to the concert.
