A 24-year-old soldier was revived after his heart stopped for nearly 90 minutes through an Extracorporeal Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (eCPR) procedure at AIIMS Bhubaneswar. "This...marks a milestone in Odisha's medical history," Intensivist and Adult ECMO specialist Dr Srikant Behera said. It was used after the patient displayed no cardiac activity despite 40 minutes of conventional CPR.
