SEBI banned Avadhut Sathe, often called 'dancing finfluencer', from trading and impounded ₹546 crore he made by cheating students who enrolled in his 'trading academy'. SEBI also barred Sathe and his trading academy, ASTAPL, from disposing or alienating any of their assets or properties. The market regulator has also directed banks to freeze debit facilities on Sathe and ASTAPL's accounts.
