Chhath Puja generated trade worth over ₹50,000 crore nationwide and that too entirely from indigenous products, said Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) Secretary General Praveen Khandelwal. Bihar alone generated business activity worth about ₹15,000 crore, followed by Delhi with ₹8,000 crore and Jharkhand with ₹5,000 crore. "Now, traders are looking towards wedding season," Praveen added.
