Delhi received a total rainfall of 42.8 mm in December, marking the highest rainfall this month since 2009, IMD data showed. The city received 9.1 mm of rainfall in last 24 hours till 8.30 am on Friday. The national capital also witnessed a drop of 9.5°C in day temperature, marking lowest maximum temperature in past five years in December.
