Heavy rain has lashed Mumbai and Pune, causing flooding in areas like Shantinagar to Indrayani Corner Road. The IMD has issued yellow alerts for Konkan, central Maharashtra, Vidarbha, and Marathwada, warning of potential waterlogging. IMD Pune head KS Hosalikar said that thunderstorms with heavy rain are expected in Baramati, Daund, Indapur, Mumbai, Thane, and Raigad.
