The Nitish Kumar-led cabinet in Bihar sanctioned the development of six regional airports under the UDAN scheme in Madhubani, Birpur, Munger, Valmikinagar, Muzaffarpur, and Saharsa. The cabinet approved approximately ₹150 crore for each airport. The Cabinet also approved the transfer of land worth ₹10.49 crore for the construction of metro stations under the Patna Metro project.
