Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said that people of West Bengal are disappointed with the Sealdah court's verdict announcing a life term for convict Sanjay Roy. "Bengal people expected the strictest punishment for the accused," he added. "Judges give decisions on the basis of evidence. Whatever is presented to them, the decision will be based on that," he further said.
