Congress on Saturday appointed Subhankar Sarkar as the new party chief in West Bengal. Sarkar replaced former Lok Sabha MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury. Prior to his appointment as party chief Sarkar was the AICC secretary. "I am starting from zero. I will talk to our workers, district, and block-level leaders, and then I will make any decision," Sarkar said.
