External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Tuesday said vandalism of a Hindu temple by protesters carrying Khalistani flags in Canada's Brampton was "obviously deeply concerning". This comes amid rising diplomatic tensions between India and Canada over investigation into the killing of Khalistani separatist Hardeep Nijjar. Ministry of External Affairs and PM Narendra Modi condemned the incident.
