Employees in Delhi have the highest average working hours per week at 54.3, according to the data from the Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS) 2023–24. It is followed by Gujarat with an average of 52.5 hours per week and Rajasthan at 52.3 hours/week. Chandigarh and Punjab are next with 52 and 50.1 hours/week, respectively.
