Sridhar Vembu has announced that he is stepping down as the CEO of Zoho Corp and will now take on a new role as the company's Chief Scientist who will be "responsible for deep R&D initiatives". He said that the decision was taken due to the various challenges and opportunities faced by the firm, including "recent major developments in AI".
