NCP [Ajit Pawar] candidate Chhagan Bhujbal won from Nashik's Yevla constituency in the Maharashtra Assembly polls for the fifth time. He defeated NCP [Sharad Pawar] candidate Manikrao Shinde by 26,400 votes. Yeola has been a bastion of Chhagan Bhujbal since 2004. The voting for the Maharashtra Assembly elections took place in a single phase on November 20.
