Activist Sharjeel Imam has decided not to contest Bihar Assembly elections after Delhi High Court denied him bail and the Supreme Court refused interim relief. His brother Muzammil Imam confirmed the decision on social media. Imam, who planned to run from Bahadurganj in Kishanganj, said that as the case was adjourned to late October, campaigning for the elections was impossible.
