Iran Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said a woman is like "flower" and must be cared for and protected. He stated Western countries saying women wearing hijab won't be able to progress is a "nonsensical logic". "The Islamic Republic has shown a Muslim woman observing Islamic dress code can progress...and be influential both in society & at home," he stated.
