Apple is preparing to enter the low-cost laptop market for the first time, with the launch of the first budget MacBook expected in the first half of 2026, Bloomberg News reported. The device is meant to lure customers away from Google's Chromebooks and entry-level Windows PCs. Apple is reportedly expected to sell it under $1,000 by using less-advanced components.
