Poseidon is an unmanned, nuclear-powered underwater torpedo developed by Russia. Over 20 meters long, it can travel thousands of kilometres at great depth without being detected. The weapon is designed to carry a nuclear warhead and cause massive destruction along coastlines. It can be launched from specialised submarines like K-329 Belgorod. Russia claimed it tested the weapon on Tuesday.
