The Karnataka government is in talks with Apple and its partners to expand manufacturing ecosystem in the state and make products beyond iPhones. "Foxconn is here, and so is Wistron. Naturally, we want to attract more Apple partners to deepen supply chain," said state IT Minister Priyank Kharge. Karnataka government had approved Foxconn's proposal for iPhone factory in March 2023.
