The Pune Municipal Corporation has requested ₹300 crore from the state government for a riverfront development project near Rajaram Bridge. Municipal commissioner Naval Kishore Ram highlighted urgent need for flood mitigation infrastructure. According to Ram, if the state allocates ₹300 cr, PMC can expedite work on this project phase to manage additional water flow from dams during the monsoon.
