BSP chief Mayawati entered the race for the Bihar assembly elections on all 243 seats. The party supremo has given the responsibility of strengthening the party in the state to her nephew, Akash Anand, who was expelled in March and reinstated as the party's Chief National Coordinator within weeks. He has been tasked with winning Dalit votes in the state.
