Batter Rajat Patidar has been named Madhya Pradesh's all-format captain ahead of the 2025–26 domestic season. This comes after the 32-year-old led RCB to their maiden IPL title and also captained Central Zone to a Duleep Trophy win, their first in 11 years. Madhya Pradesh will open their Ranji Trophy campaign against Punjab in Indore on October 15.
