Apple has agreed to pay $95 million (around ₹815 crore) in cash to settle a proposed class-action lawsuit claiming its voice-activated Siri assistant violated privacy. Users complained Apple routinely recorded their private conversations after they activated Siri unintentionally and disclosed it to advertisers. Thousands of users may receive up to $20 (around ₹1,700) per Siri-enabled device.
