After an Air India plane crash killed at least 270 people, India’s DGCA introduced a 'Comprehensive Special Audits' framework for holistic aviation checks. "The goal is to generate a 360-degree evaluation of the aviation ecosystem, reflecting both its strengths and areas needing improvement," DGCA said. It also added that these special audits will be conducted by a senior DGCA official.
