Election Commission announced the dates of by-election on Tuesday for the Milkipur constituency in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya district. Voting in Milkipur will take place on February 5, while the results will be declared on February 8. The by-polls for Milkipur is happening after the seat fell vacant following the resignation of Awadhesh Prasad after he won in Lok Sabha polls.
