British MP Bob Blackman raised the issue of Hindus being targeted and their houses and businesses being attacked in Bangladesh. Talking about it in UK Parliament, Blackman said, "The clear issue is an attempt at the ethnic cleansing of Hindus from Bangladesh." Another MP Barry Gardiner said the situation was "clearly on a knife edge".
