A man in China's Shanghai was ordered by a court to pay 90,000 yuan (over ₹10 lakh) in compensation to a woman who suffered a miscarriage after his pet dog jumped at her. The woman became pregnant after undergoing multiple in vitro fertilisation (IVF) procedures over three years. "Sadly, my baby could not be saved," the woman said.
