Two young men, Rajkumar Govind Subba and Visghnesh Murugesh Devendram, drowned at Juhu's Silver Beach. Lifeguards rescued Subba, but Devendram washed away, leading to a search operation that was halted due to high tide. According to an official, both were residents of a slum in Vile Parle, and "primary information suggests that both were under the influence of alcohol".
