A controversy erupted in Madhya Pradesh's Chhatarpur after Naib Tehsildar Ritu Singhai allegedly slapped a girl student and also grabbed a farmer by the collar who came to buy fertiliser. According to reports, farmers had been suffering for several days due to fertiliser shortage. Chhatarpur Collector Parth Jaiswal has issued a notice to Singhai following the incident.
